And it’s those who start with why, that have the ability to inspire those around them or find others who inspire them” - Simon Sinek
Throughout my life, I’ve had the good fortune to be part of several amazing teams and it’s these experiences that influence the way I work with teams on exploring who they are and who they strive to be. My work with teams is also influenced by thought leader and optimist Simon Sinek, and his vision for a world where people are inspired by their work and the positive impact it can create. Examples of my work with teams include:
Your Team Why: Simon Sinek’s work focusses on the fact that many organizations know what they do, and how they do it, but have a harder time defining “why” they do what they do. More recently, part of my work has focussed on helping teams clarify or rediscover their “why” at an organizational level, a team level and also at a program level.
Your Team Through a Strengths-Based Lens: What does it look like when managers and team members know who they are, are aware of their gifts and work from a place of strengths? In working with managers and team members through workshops and 1:1 coaching, and through empowering the exploration of their individual and collective strengths, I’ve been able to help teams discover new and innovative ways to work together and accomplish their goals.
